Full-Service Interior Design
Personalized interior design for homes in Colorado’s mountain towns, from a single-room transformation to furnishing an entire home. We begin by understanding how you use your space, what you love, and where you need a fresh perspective. From there, we develop a cohesive design through mood boards, furniture layouts, material and finish selections, and thoughtfully sourced furnishings. Lighting, rugs, artwork, and final styling bring everything together, blending vintage character with modern comfort for a mountain home that feels refined and easy to live in.
Second Home & Airbnb Furnishing and Styling
Create a mountain retreat that feels welcoming from the moment you walk through the door. We help second-home and vacation rental owners furnish new properties or refresh existing spaces with comfortable seating, inviting bedrooms, layered lighting, and distinctive decor. Selections consider how the home will be used, from family ski weekends to frequent guest stays, with attention to durable fabrics, easy-care materials, and practical storage. The result is a thoughtfully furnished home with a consistent style throughout and details that make settling in feel effortless.
Design Consultations & Mood Boards
Get personalized guidance on the decisions holding your project back, from choosing a paint palette to arranging furniture or working existing pieces into a new look. During your consultation, we discuss your space, style preferences, budget, and priorities to identify a clear direction. A custom mood board brings that vision into focus, showing how colors, textures, furniture styles, and finishes can work together. It gives you a visual reference for future decisions and a starting point for creating a home that feels cohesive and personal.
Virtual Interior Design & 3D Renderings
A custom design plan for your home, wherever you live. Using your room measurements, photos, and inspiration, we collaborate remotely to develop a design around your space, budget, and everyday needs. Depending on your project, your package can include a mood board, furniture layout, 3D renderings, and a curated shopping list with product links. Renderings help you picture the proposed furnishings, colors, and finishes together, while your design plan provides clear direction for purchasing and arranging everything at your own pace.
Meet your designer, Emily Desrosiers
I’ve called Summit County home for the past 10 years, and I understand how mountain homes need to live as beautifully as they look. My love of interiors began in childhood, noticing how light, proportion, and texture could change the feeling of a room. That curiosity led me to study at the Interior Design Institute and establish June Hut Home Interiors.
My approach brings the outdoors in through natural materials, an earthy palette, and layers of modern and vintage furnishings. I work with homeowners, architects, and builders on new builds and renovations, as well as second homes and investment properties. From space planning and finish selections to furnishings and final styling, I offer thoughtful guidance and a close partnership at every step, creating a cohesive home that responds to its surroundings and the people who use it.
“Emily was so helpful during our kitchen remodel. We contacted her at the very beginning because we had a lot of ideas but needed help narrowing things down. She was professional, understood our style, and had great suggestions.”
